This guide shows the fastest ways to find books you will love.

Start Here: Open the Library

From the main menu, go to Library to browse the catalog and start filtering.

Option 1: Use Search (Fastest)

If you already know what you want, use search first.

Search works best for:

• Book titles
• Author names
• Series names
• Keywords you remember (characters, tropes, locations)

Tip: If you do not get results right away, try fewer words. For example, search “Lakeside” instead of “The Lakeside Promise.”

Option 2: Browse by Genre First (Best for Discovery)

If you are not sure what you want yet, start by clicking a genre and then narrow from there.

Recommended flow:

1. Open the Library
2. Select a genre that fits your mood
3. Apply filters to refine (subgenre, content levels, themes, etc.)
4. Sort to find the best match

Using Filters (Find Your Perfect Fit)

Bright Haven includes multiple filters so you can match your preferences with confidence.

Common filters readers use most:

• Content Levels (profanity, violence, substances)

Many titles include detailed information inside the “More Info” section, including sensitive themes. If you want to avoid spoilers, use filters first, then open “More Info” only when needed.

• Try the author last name only
• Remove filters one at a time (a strict filter can hide results)
